Hampstead Heath is located on West Pico Blvd in a vibrant neighborhood of housing, shops and restaurants.

Living here means walking or biking to grocery stores, stopping at the café or yogurt place during the day and belting out a tune at a Karaoke bar at night. Sawtelle Blvd is a couple of blocks away.

Other neighborhood services nearby include the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, West Los Angeles Community Police Station, West Los Angeles Municipal Building, West Los Angeles Regional Branch Library, a US Post Office and schools.

The year round neighborhood’s Farmers Market takes place every Sunday from 9 am – 2 pm at Corinth and Purdue Avenues.

National chain stores, restaurants and movie theaters such as Bed, Bath and Beyond, Staples, Best Buy, Ralphs as well as The Landmark Theaters located in the Westside Pavilion shopping mall are also nearby. As well as Westwood Village and Westfield shopping center at Century City.

Trader Joe’s and Walgreens are a few blocks away on Olympic Boulevard.

West Pico Blvd is nestled between the City of Santa Monica to the West, Westwood and Brentwood to the North, Beverly Hills to the East and Venice and Culver City to the South.

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
UCLA is a world-renowned public research university located in the Westwood neighborhood. UCLA is known worldwide for the breadth and quality of its academic, research, health care, cultural, continuing education and athletic programs.

UCLA is the leading arts and cultural center in the western U.S., hosting more than 1,000 visual and performing arts events each year. Venues include the UCLA Hammer Museum, Royce Hall, Geffen Playhouse, Freud Playhouse, Billy Wilder Theater and the Fowler Museum at UCLA.

Accessibility
West Pico Blvd has great accessibility as three major thoroughfares bound it: Pico Boulevard (east-west), the 405 freeway (north-south) and the 10 freeway (east-west).

The area is served by both the Santa Monica and Los Angeles International (LAX) airports, and several bus systems: Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, Culver City Bus and the local Metro and Rapid bus lines. Buses go regularly to UCLA, departing a couple of blocks away from the building.

The new metro train stations at Olympic/Bundy and Sepulveda/Pico are both within walking distance.
